I have often wondered about the quality of your run of the mill webcam. What is your opinion of the best webcams on the market and what should someone look for when buying a webcam?

The only two things I think you might want to consider is to pick one that has adjustable focus and a built in mic. There are just too many brands etc. for me to refer a specific one as there are too many personal things to consider. It is like asking someone which is better, a Cannon or a Nikon? when my preference is the Pentax due you get more bang for the buck with out paying for the big name.
