First of all, this question has been asked a million times.

It's not cute, because THERE IS NO "ACT OF GOD" in the insurance world. It's NOT an insurance phrase, it's a lay person phrase. I've read hundreds of policies, and have NEVER seen the phrase "act of God" in ANY policy, EVER.

So NO ONE can collect insurance on an "act of God" because NO POLICY COVERS IT. Policies cover Fire, flood, certain lawsuits, injuries, whatever, depending on the policy type.

An Act of God has nothing to do with God. It's only a name that's applied to a unexpected event. So even if you're the worst unbelieving scroundel in the world, if your insurance policy covers it you should get paid.

Show me a policy that uses the phrase "Acts of God" with reference to coverage. It does not exist

I have never seen that phrase on a policy, so I'm led to believe that deists do not have coverage for an "act of god" either.

Yes. The bad news is act of God is what insurance companies use to get out of paying people.....

Act of god is euphemism for major act of nature .
Hurricanes and volcanoes happen even if there is no god .
