One of the ones where you take a picture and it pops out the front, one of the older ones. Do they still make them, and if they do, where can I buy one? (film too.)
:) Thanks!

Yes, they still sell Polaroid cameras. You can buy them both used and new, but if you go used, avoid the Polaroid Captiva models. Polaroid also made "spectra" cameras, but I think the film for that isn't being made either.

There are two main used models to consider--the Polaroid 600 series cameras and the older SX-70 series cameras. The even older models are the Polaroid pack film models, and those are pretty cool too--you have to pull the film out manually and do the peel apart thing.

Here's a link to a new Polaroid 600-type camera:

Here's a great website on Polaroids:

I work at a Wal-Mart photo and we still carry one model and the film, so they shouldn't be too hard to find. Around this time of year though the film may be hard to get. It sells out because it is on a lot of elementary school supply list. The cam cost $29.99 and a ten pack of film is $12, a twenty pack is like $21.

Shake it like a polaroid picture... shake it, shake shake shake shakeit

They're REALLY hard to find, go to a camera store and ask them. Digital has made them nearly obsolete

As their popularity has fallen and their film prices risen, your local pawn shop or flee markets are good places to look for one. Film is still available.
