Christians, What projects or involvements are you currently working on?

i am currently working on defeating depression in the church, such a taboo topic, christians don't like to admit they deal with this or won't seek help about it. i hope eventually thousands will be delivered from this sickness

Currently, I am teaching a class in the prison on personality. We are looking at who God made-our Myers-Briggs personality preferences, love language, passions and life experiences-to see how we fit in to God's plan.

The class is two hours once a week. We also spend some time each class on The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren.

The guys are great. They are all Christians participating in the Faith based dorm program.

I also lead the Thursday night book study at the very small Church where I am a member. Sundays we have Bible study, on Thursdays we study books on Christian living. Right now we are studying Basic Christianity by John Stott and The Case for Christ by Lee Stroble.

One of my favorite projects is doing the shopping for the Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child boxes. We make up and send about three boxes per member. I love shopping for soccer balls, dolls, craft kits, school supplies and toiletries for the boxes. Then we have a packing party!

That's about it right now. Next term I'm going to teach a second class at the prison. The prison classes are the most important thing God has given me to do so far. I am thoroughly enjoying them and I think I am getting a bigger blessing from the classes than my guys are.
