Is that just the "Christian" thing to do? Not real impressive. There are some real Christians around and I feel sorry for them; for being associated with such lying, bigoted hypocrites.

"Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." Matthew 12:33-37

jenx (2 above me), sorry but it's not stereo typing anyone. I'm sorry to say that I know he's telling the truth. I hear professing Christians at work do it....more than I want to!

Well, this Christian does not use foul language. Although today this thing called "a" asked about how to beat a woman and I said his question was asinine and criminal and I stand by that. Too many people are quick to respond or get defensive and that means emotions are going to come through, whether they are a Christian or not.

So many people are saying there are no "true" Christians. I don't give a definition of what a "true" Christian is because I strongly believe only God can decide that. Many people ask Christians to stop judging and being hypocritical. Well, deciding who is a "true" Christian is definitely judging.

God Bless.

It doesn't matter what religion a person is, and in this case on this site, there is just simply a lot of foul language being used and in all categories. I have witnessed it too.
I thought this was supposed to be a site where people helped each other out by answering a question in an intelligent manner.
There are a lot of different ways to get your point across. Foul language demonstrates poor taste, stupidity, and a lack of respect for others.

While I am no fan of Christianity or its supporters, I would suggest that the general coarseness of which you speak is more reflective of this forum, in which low class persons of all religious perspectives typically behave poorly, rather than of any specific religion in question. However, you are correct in suggesting that, given Christianity's standards, such behavior is indicative of hypocrisy.

They are not Christians. They are mere believers of Christ. Christian is a titled given through living a genuine lifestyle of following what Jesus taught, what Jesus said and exemplifying the love that he showed on the cross (John 14:21; John 15:12-13). Even in that, we all need mercy. Most people that profess to be Christians cannot even quote, accurately, anything Jesus said. But, to be believer is just to believe in the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and it does not take a lifestyle to do that. But, it does take living like Him to be classified as a true Christian. Christianity is not a religion it is a relationship. (Ephesians 5:1-2).
So, don't be disturbed by their ignorance. That, by no means, represent Christ himself.

First of all this is not a forum. If you want a forum, yahoo has one. This is a question and answer site. Read your community guide lines. People who have legitimate questions ask them and people who have legitimate answers answer them.

Second how can you know that the person who is using the bad language is really a Christian and not someone who just wants to make a Christian look bad. Do you know that person personally.

Third I have seen more bad mouthing against Christians then from them.
Also I have seen some bad mouthing from people who say they are atheists. But that doesn't make all atheist like that.
Don't stereo type people.

IT proves that we are STILL sinners SAVED by grace and justified by faith I ought to KNOW because I am guilty of it and ashamed. I hate this because want to or not, I knw I'd do it AGAIN. And ,,yew I can understand being called a hypocrite every time I FAIL to walk the walk. I AM so sorry. and deserve any scorn I get. UNTIL the Words or Yeshua removes it from me. Yet must do MY end also - - - by takeing resposibility for my actions. I think most of us would NOT do this in person. My Lord has said and it IS written "If youre guilty of one your guilty of ALL" Thank you for asking...

"I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ" - Gandhi

I was raised in a judgmental, hateful church. It is somewhat better these days having a new pastor, but most of them are narrow minded and refuse science, believing it the work of Satan and unbelievers. I knew in my heart this was not the way. I am a Catholic now (albeit a bit liberal) and I have found a God and a Christ of love and compassion. I have seen many hypocrites. I have also seen many true Christians, like my dad, who lives his faith, rather than shove it down others' throats.

In my opinion it does not matter what faith or lack there of you are you should not be insulted or have to "read" the foul language. Signed a Christian
