Add a can of tuna, some frozen peas and some spices. It's actually a pretty good meal!

My favorite way to use it is to make up the mac and cheese completely according to the directions on the box, then throw a can of tuna in it, and a can of peas (drained, of course), and continue heating them until the peas and tuna are warm. Very good, and filling. Almost like a casserole/complete meal in one, as you have your pasta, your "meat" and your veggies! As an alternate form, you could use hamburger meat in it instead of the tuna and peas - that is very good too.

Prepare mac and cheese according to package directions. Stir in diced ham or smoked sausage. Pour mixture in a buttered baking dish and top with bread crumbs. Bake in 375 degree oven until browned.
Serve with a salad.

Add green peas and tuna, both drained. Bake for 10 minutes. If you have bread crumbs, melt some butter in a pan on low heat, mix with bread crumbs and top the casserole.

Add a 1/2 cup of salsa.
Some people add a can of drained tuna.
You could add a pound of hamburger and some mushrooms.
You can also add a bag of frozen mixed veggies, any kind will do.

I put it in an 8" sq. pan, then top with peeled sliced tomatoes, and buttered breadcrumbs, then I bake it for 45 minutes at 350.
