One night I was helping my mom's friend make this some sort of pasta with mushrooms. Well the mushrooms was in a can with this type of sauce I dont know, but I was scooping it out onto the noodles and some spilled on my hand, and it started getting all red and itchy. Out of no where lol, so am I allergic? was I lucky not to eat it?

i think you are allergec, and you were very lucky not to have eatten it. Your throat wouldda probly got itchy, and it might of buthered your stomache. It could of been the mushroom (fungus) of the sauce. Try reading the ingreadiants to see whats in the sauce.

Could be the mushrooms, could be something else in the sauce. Read what else is in there and be careful not to eat any of those and getting tested for allergies may not be a bad idea!!

cream of chicken is usually the most likely stand in for cream of Mushroom. but any of the others will do. Cream of celery & asparagus will be very strongly flavored. Campbell's also has some new cream soups that are a little higher priced but the cream of squash is pretty good.

Could have been any ingredient in the can - don't buy that brand.
Never met a patient allergic to mushrooms.

maybe your skin can detect the toxin contained in the sauce of the can....thankGod..
