Yes they are. The pharmaceutical industry makes obscene amounts of money off of our ailments. Think about it, the more of us that are sick, the more money they make. And if you've ever paid for a prescription, you know that this is a lot of money. Notice how many "conditions" require the patient to STAY on drugs (diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol). All the conditions I mentioned can be reversed through diet and exercise, yet doctors put them on drugs for years. Think of how much money a person spends on drugs over the course of several years! (not to mention the liver damage).

When you pay hundreds of dollars for your drugs, you're not just paying for the drug. Pharma companies give doctors very expensive incentives to prescribe their drugs. Doctors win vacations, cars, cash...all kinds of stuff if they write a certain amount of prescriptions. A big part of what you pay is for those incentives,

You ask "where is the FDA?" The FDA is in bed with the drug companies. These companies pay insane amounts of money to get their drugs approved. That's why the FDA approves so many drugs that, after they are out for a few years, you hear a news story about the drug causing severe side effects or death. And people say, "But it's FDA approved!" As if the FDA is there to "protect" you. Drug companies, doctors, and the FDA are in it for the money. LOTS of money. Think about that next time you go to the doctor. You are naive to think that these people/organizations "care" about you. The only thing they care about is you getting sick so they can make more money, and it's a lot of money.

Irritable bowel syndrome is for real. So are the other two. These are actually medical diagnoses not thought of by the FDA or drug companies. There's not a drug that will cure IBS anyway. There's only one drug in the market for RLS and popcorn lung is caused by exposure. If you were in the medical field like myself then you would find these real because your patients don't lie. Well, they will lie for narcotics.

Yes doctors often look for thing to write the
precriptons for,as they get a kick back.
doctors are eager to give you samples,and later
write precript. the price is so high it's hard to pay
for them.
the FDA does not have enough people to do
there reserch.The robber is the pharmasutel
companys,who make millions off of any new
pill.

I have RLS... and it f'n sucks! It kept me from sleeping at night... and until i got put on meds, it was hell (okay maybe i'm exaggerating... but it wasn't fun).

Honestly... the drug companies do own this world. AND... how does the US expect someone like me (without health insurance) to pay for desperately needed meds.
BUT that's a whole different story... don't get me started... lol.
