I wouldn't drink any because I am 29 years old and I drink 14 beers a day. I used to wonder the same thing 13 years ago. Think about the rest of your life before you wonder how many beers will get a 150lb 16yr old drunk!!!!!

Sounds like he may be exaggerating.
Then again, how long after this "whole case" did he drive? If it was 2 days later, then yeah, I can see that happening. If he consumed the whole case over a period of 2 days, I could see him driving right after finishing the last one (though I wouldn't advise it). I can also see him making it home if home was say, just two driveways away...
It all depends on the situation.
Now if he down'ed a case at a party and drove 5 miles home that night/early morning I'd find it very hard to believe.

I'm 22 and I couldn't safely drive home after drinking 12 beers and I'm not an amateur drinker either. It would probably take him about 5-6 beers to get totally drunk, but he'll probably just drink one and think it's gross. That's the way I was at his age.
Oh yeah and TAKE HIS KEYS!

It really depends on your tolerance but if he's never drank a beer in his life then there is no way he could drink a case. I've been drinking regularly since I was 12 and I get a damn good buzz off six

Depends on what one would call drunk.
One drink after one hour would give someone that weight about .03BAC (blood alcohol content).
Six drinks after 4 hours would give your friend a BAC of about .10, illegal to drive.
At age 16 or 17 its illegal for him to consume any alcohol.
Drinking and driving is irresponsible.

To make a 16 year old male feel drunk, and it was the first time he had drank a Beer, it would take at least six or seven beers to get Drunk.

If he drove and drank that much he's a drunk driver and he should be ashamed of himself! By the way I think 2 or 3 would put him way past the tipsy state.

Let's put it this way. I'm 6'2 and weigh 250 lbs. A case would have me near on my a**. Your friend is lying. Simple math. Not enough mass to absorb that much booze in one sitting and still function.

I doubt if a 16 year old can drink more than one or two beers before he would be drunk.
So your "friend" wink wink, is probably just trying to be cool.
Drunk driving is way uncool too btw.

I would say he is a liar. Why in the world would he be proud of driving home drunk anyway?
