If we could get the terrorist to gather in one place --bomb them.
But since they are living among the innocents (even here in the states) you cannot do that.
I am sure if they labeled their selves so they could be identified --- They would die.

If only you could know people's wills, there'd be no terrorism. The global thought police could just kill anyone who thought about causing death and distruction in a paramilitary way, and kill them.
That or destroy the 3rd world. There always seems to be a lot more terrorists in the 3rd world than the 1st, and while the 2nd world might have more terrorists, they tend to crack down on them harder.
Or maybe you could invade terrorist-harboring nations, destroy their army and successfully disarm the population, and force them to be democratic, which if it sticks, could make the nation a 1st world nation politically and financially, which might have less terrorists.

Well you asked what we think and I for one think you are stupid, if all the terrorists were known then we would have no problem tackling the situation.
As it is most terrorist hide amongst normal people so how do you identify and target them??

I think there IS a way. I don't think the consequences are acceptable however. What about finding a political solution as well ? I don't think a military doctrine works by itself..do you?

what you suggest is impossible for the reason that the terrorist are in every country in the world including the USA and no one wants to have to blow up their own country

I think it's appalling that you can sit blithely at your computer and talk so casually about killing other human beings.
I wonder how you would feel if YOU were one of those being targeted to "kill....quicker". War or no war, there is still a place for justice, compassion, peace and love in this world.

Yeah, it's called a nuclear bomb. But, that would be just far too mean, cruel, and unfair :( *tear* let's all go have a candle light vigil for all those poor innocent terrorists our troops are slaughtering over there. How dare we as a nation stand up and defend ourselves against terrorism.
