They say different things and interpret the Bible differently. Who is right?

In the early Christian church there were Apostles who received direct revelation from God, to guide the church. Even while the Apostles were alive, apostasy amongst church members was rampant.

See New Testament scriptures that show this:

With no prophet or apostles to guide them, it was pretty much inevitable that Christians would continue to multiply churches according to their disagreements. The reason there are so many Christian churches is because none of them have a living prophet to guide them in the right way.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ was restored back to earth, in the 1820s. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is led by a living prophet, who holds the keys of the priesthood of Jesus Christ, and who delegates this priesthood power to every worthy man in the church.

Don't take my word for it, but search through the site in the link above, and see if it answers your questions. Hope this helps.

The Spirit you feel will help you to know that this really is true... God hasn't left the earth to stumble around using it's own interpretation of ancient scripture to prepare us for the Saviour's Second Coming. The living prophet guides us with surety and peace.

Why do you start out from the viewpoint that one of them has the truth. None of them have ever shown you verified proof of what they claim is true. Wouldn't it be a safer bet to start out with the assumption that none of them have the truth. When you have people who's beliefs all stem from one book, yet not of them can agree what that book is telling them, doesn't that seem a bit suspicious? Doesn't that make you think that their book may have contradictions or fallacies that cause them to not agree? It just shows that religion's are a man made item. If God had inspired anyone to write the bible, he would not have left room for debate. He is perfect remember. He would know exactly how to word it, so that their would be no disagreements. I encourage you to seriously dig deeper into religion and it will show you it's inadequacies. I am not saying go to church and listen to someone else's interpretation. Study it yourself. Read it. Go to bible study groups where people actually take a deep look at what it says and then step back and take a logical look at what you have heard. Don't get sucked into the feelings, where you only look at it from an emotional viewpoint. You will soon find the true answer and it isn't what the religious would have you believe.
Edit
I encourage people to study the bible from cover to cover, even though I am an atheist and I get 3 thumbs down? Looks like some people are afraid of what others might actually find in there. Thank you for proving me with backing for my argument.

The ones who follow the Bible only and closely. Jesus spoke of false prophets who would mislead many. You know the truth of that.

He also said by their fruits or what they produce you will know them. Let us take one simple fruit.

Most religions say the soul is immortal. It lives on after death. Is that what the Bible says? Read it from your own Bible at Ezekiel 18:4, "the soul that is sinning, it itself will DIE." and Romans 5:12 "through one man sin entered the world and death through sin, thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned."

Which are you to believe? Many religions or the Bible? As much as they all claim to be based on the Bible, they must be false?

That is how you tell. It takes nothing more than a Bible with an index in the back, a pen and paper. Just compare the beliefs with what the Bible really says.

Its not about "who is right" Because churches are run by people. And people make mistakes and sin and sometimes give false information. No human is perfect.

So if you want to know the truth, and whats really right, you need to read the Bible for yourself.

Some churches will pull out parts of scripture and teach on it but they are not teaching it in the right context. you can't just pull out one verse and teach on that. You have to read about the story behind the verse and what was said previously to really understand its context.

So read the Bible for yourself and then compare it to the church your going to. Are they teaching something different? If you can't find scripture to clearly back up what they are teaching then they are not teaching the right thing.

So if your worried about what someone is teaching you about God...then take your question to God himself. He's only a prayer away ;)

I'm not going to tell you which is right. In my opinion, the answer to that question is obvious after a little careful study. As to why there are so many, the answer is different for each distinct denomination. Some exist because they disagreed with the practices of their parent denomination. Some disagreed with the theology of their parent denomination. Some were excommunicated when they deviated too far from their parent denomination. Some are simply the natural evolution of specific cultural subsets.

There is only one church that was founded by Jesus Christ and established by the apostles, and that is the Catholic church, which enjoys all of God's complete and correct divine revelation, as well as his continuing guidance, protection, grace, and support.

All the Christian denominations derive whatever truth and/or divine power that they might enjoy from their subsistence within the Catholic church, but due to their many differing creeds, practices, and traditions ... they do so in an imperfect and even inferior way.

Because, some are F students, some are D students...etc...some are A students(but them you can count on your finger).

Most of these churches are God's only by the skin of their teeth, as they are into religion and no power exists in them or among them. God is opposed to religion...yes, the Catholic Church is about religion and church dogma and has little room for the Almighty God who demands freedom for HIs Spirit.

And there is your answer: POWER. Where God is, signs and wonders follow to confirm it. God is a supernatural God and where He is, the supernatural flows. PERIOD.

Satan wants division...and Satan got it, cause of the small minds of men, competing with one another over petty junk. But it serves God's purpose. People suck. God knows it. People who have brains know it. Put two humans together and you have competition and distrust. It is built into the mix it seems!

How do you expect everything to work well, when man is at the helm? It's going to be a joke from start to finish except that God is still God over them! Out of Chaos, order.

In sum, mankind is a joke. Hell is waiting for most of mankind...and don't think God won't send them there!

I am male so I can talk: Male is the weaker of the sexes, that's why God made Man the head and had to curse Eve to be under Adam. Now-a-days, women are like men...and men are homosexuals. Geesh.

What do you expect from man? Do you think man is soft enough in heart to do things right before God's face? Mankind will always mess things up...but God has a purpose in it.

But again, you know which church is right by staying on your knees in prayer and seek the Power of God in Christ.

Spiritual truth comes from the heart.
I've attended Catholic services and Pentecostal services that were both moving and powerful. I've attended both and had very negative feelings as well. You'll have to determine this for yourself but remember your heart should guide you in this matter. Never stay with a Church that gives you a negative feeling. Services should inspire and encourage love. If they talk politics and judge people, run they aren't Christian.

Every single one would have you believe that they are the only true word of God. The simple fact is they have all made up what they want to believe and disregard what they don't.

So why not just have your own personal relationship with God without a third party?

When you have a close relationship with God, and you read the bible regularly, you know in your heart when an interpretation is being twisted to fit their interests.
There are many Bible based churches who speak the truth. It is a matter of your preference on preaching and worship style.
