Errr... perhaps you can tell us, then... since the 'soul' imparts life... exactly when does god bestow a soul upon bacteria, and amoebas?
Gods were invented by man, in a desperate attempt to explain what was once unexplainable... things like the sun, moon, and stars... day and night... thunder and lightening... sickness and death... etc... and to answer questions that were once unanswerable... vital, profound, important questions like "Daddy... what holds the sky up?" The answer for ALL of these things was some form of "God did it."
For all of these questions, the delusion "God did it" (the ILLUSION of knowledge) has been replaced by REAL knowledge... and as a result, this 'god' has been reduced from an all-powerful supernatural being to a 'God of the Gaps'... an imaginary cockroach-like creature that scurries from crack-to-crevice, looking for the remaining patches of darkness and shadow in mankind's '"knowledge-base", so as to cower and hide from the glaring light of knowledge and understanding.
The fact that people continue to cling to this pitiable, delusional 'god' idea is a pathetic disgrace, to say the least... and I am inclined to add 'tragic' to that, as well... a testament to the enduring power of gullibility, irrationality, willful ignorance, self-delusion, intellectual dishonesty, hypocrisy and drooling stupidity.
Yet today, we find stalwart defenders of these insane delusions fighting a desperate battle to stave of knowledge and understanding, trying to shield the dark cracks and crevices of ignorance from the light of reason... crying "No... no... that ain't so... God did it... God did it."

Life is a miracle to all mankind. For millions of years mankind asked following questions: what is life? Why do we die and where shall we go after death? Ancient people could not answer these questions of mysterious life. Human being did not like to believe that there is no life after death. Hence ancient clever people invented the very simple answer. They first invented soul, the most important ingredient every religion. And then they invented God, angels and life after death. all the souls of human beings have been created by God at the same day and souls are locked up or stored in a cell (Louhe Mahfuz) in the heaven. It is by only God's wish, a particular soul is sent to this mortal earth with a fixed program. So as per scriptures the souls are all manufactured and stored ready for use. Go on believe anything u think is acceptable anything that u feel comfortable with.

You've asked this question from the perspective of a believer. You are assuming that life entered our beings at conception. It comes down to how you define life. This answer could become very long and complicated if I tried to cover every possibility I could think of. In the end - you believe what you want and allow others to do the same because there is really no way to be absolutely sure of what the truth actually is.

Nope its just the neat little thing called biology. I'd also love to see your proof that life enters our body before the mind is created. I mean maybe some biological processes begin before the bran fully develops but what does that prove. Besides bodies do live on without the mind its called being in a vegetative state.

You are applying poetic language to a naturalistic biochemical process. There is no reason to assert that there is any workings of any deity in the beginnings of life, either on the planet or in our mothers' wombs.
Life does not "enter a body" as if it came from elsewhere. It is the process of biochemistry that is instilled in DNA, a chemical that has the capacity to reproduce itself. This goes back to amino acids and proteins that originated in the primordial muck. Life is a part of the process that springs from this DNA, and it continues to reproduce itself for as long as it can. Then it returns to the earth to serve as food for the next set of life that comes along.

I am an atheist.
I was unaware that life entered our body before our mind was created. I was unware that our minds or anything else was "created." Please provide evidence to support your assertions. I would like to see that.
Please also provide some evidence as to anyone who "activates" my body (besides me). Please provide me some evidence to support the existence of your god. Unless and until you have provided me this evidence, you must not be surprised that I don't believe you.
Please do not call on me to worship any deity until you have shown me that this deity exists. Peace to you too.

Atheists believe in the concept of the soul, just not in a higher power.
Then answer me this: when my wife needed divine intervention, when she needed God to come down and render assistance to her troubled soul, when she needed to know that God loved her, where was HE?

Modern biology does not require any power, either for humans or animals and has rather in-depth explanation of all of these processes... Why not open a book on this? (and while you're at it, maybe look up the scientific definition of life?)
