Yes, and God knows our inward parts while we look at each other with motes and trees in our eyes as we look through muddy glasses. Leave it to God to do the judging. BTW heaven really exists for all we bad folks because there in none righteous no not one. Faith in the work of Jesus Christ's virgin birth, death, and resurrection is the only way to leave this live with our evil deeds paid for in full. We have all gone astray, we have each gone our own way, but the Lord laid on himself the sins of us all. Even the best of the best of the good people in this world can not get to heaven on their works and deeds alone. Yea, saved by faith is a huge load. I am just glad that Jesus carries the load and I depend on Him.

We are all sinners which separates us from God. Both Pagan and Christian - no one is better than the other - as we are all God's children. The difference is that Christians have sworn an oath with Christ that they will allow Him to direct their lives and when they fall, they will repent of their sins. This repentance is what brings us clean with God. It could be daily, it could be weekly, it could be right at the end, but Christ attoned for ALL of our sins and offers us a gift of His salvation. For those whom don't, it doesn't matter if you're a very good person or not, the Bible says that the only way to life is through the Son. Through Christ Jesus alone, you will be allowed to live after death.
If you actually don't believe in Life after death, then these kinds of posts or beliefs should not really bother you as you won't believe they apply to your life anyway. I sure hope you do turn your life toward the One whom gave His for you. I'll be in prayer for you. It would be such a waste for you NOT to get into Heaven.

Regarding any specific religion or even one's spiritual beliefs, throw the idea out the door of "if heaven exists" and your concepts of good and bad people. Do you think the people that bomb places as a suicidal act think they're doing something evil? I don't like it, but that person has complete faith that they're doing the right thing and that when they die, whatever their religion promises them in a good death will happen.
You're looking through your own eyes and condemning something you have no right to condemn. I'm not of any religion, maybe that's why I can see through others' eyes a little easier.

This reminds me of an almost famous comedy sketch by the man who played Mr Bean and Black Adder in the Black Adder BBC series:
Rowan Atkinson's Hell Monologue, typed by Raymond Field (May 13, 1989)
Hello, nice to see you all again.
As the more perceptive of you have probably realised by now - this is hell, and I am the Devil. Good evening. You can call me Toby, if you like - we try and keep things informal down here, as well as infernal.
Now, you're all here for eternity, which I hardly need tell you is a sod of a long time, so you get to know everyone pretty well by the end, but for now I'll have to split you up into groups.
Are there any questions?
No, I'm afraid we don't have any toilets, if you'd read your bible you would have seen that it was damnation without relief. So, I'm afraid if you didn't go before you came then you're not going to enjoy yourself very much, but then, I believe that's the general idea.
Right, let's split you up then.
Can you all hear me?
CAN YOU HEAR ME AT THE RACK?
Off we go...
Murderers, over here. Looters and pillagers - over there please, thieves if you could join them, and BANKMANAGERS.
Fornicators, if you could step forward - My God there are a lot of you. Could I split you up into adulterers and the rest? Adulterers if you could just form a line in front of that small guillotine there.
AMERICANS, are you here? I'm sorry about this, apparently God had some fracas with your founding fathers and damned the entire race into perpetuity. He sends particular condolences to the Mormans who He realises put in a lot of work. The Iranians, I'm afraid, couldn't be with us - someone's been holding them in purgatory for the last nine months.
Sodomites, over there against the wall.
Atheists, over here please. You must be feeling a right bunch of charlies.
Christians, ah yes, I'm afraid the Jews were right.
Moonies, maniacs, marmite eaters, male models, masochists, mass murderers and masseurs, if you could take a pew at the back - with the Methodists that is.
Now, you're the lot who used to kill whales, is that right? Ah, yes, I must remember - I've got some strips to tear off you bastards later.
Everyone who saw Monty Pythons' "Life Of Brian", I'm afraid He can't take a joke after all.
Alright now, one final thing - we're trying to implement some sort of exchange scheme with the Lord God Almighty, or Cliff as we know him. Some of you will spend a decade in heaven and we're having some angels down here. Now, I hardly need tell you that you will be expected to behave in an exemplary manner, so, I hope you will do the exact opposite - tear off their wings, use their haloes for frisbee practice, that sort of thing.
Well, I have to go now, but Beelzebub here will show you the ropes
chains,
and electrodes.
I'll just leave you with a favourite joke of mine -
Knock, knock
Who's there?
Death.
Death wh..........

If you look at Jesus' only descriptive teaching on the final judgment in Matthew 25, he describes the criteria for heaven and hell in terms of caring for others. Both the saved and damned do not recognize Jesus in their neighbor, and yet Jesus says that those who do these things will be saved.
To me, that means that anyone who does what is good will find salvation. Theoretically it should be the case that the Christian will see Christ in every person they meet and care for them, but as we all know that doesn't happen. We also see non-Christians care for others better than the Christians in some cases, and so we go back to this criteria that Jesus gives. As the old Nike commercials said, "Just do it!"

People are the way their going too be,nature keeps a balance in all things including people so you'll have a equal number of goodvsbad, but mankind also has freewill,to make a choice and then take responsibility for his actions. We must never forget that either.

Your error is in stating that only some will go to heaven. All will go to heaven, not for being good as no one is "good". Some are good relatively speaking. Jesus died for the sins of every single person and love never fails. He will work it out and all will be eternally thankful when we see how much he loves us.

Actually, God says there is none good, no not one. How good do you have to be to be in that category? Heaven is not about good or bad people. It's a spiritual kingdom reserved for God and those who love Him. That love is proven when one accepts His Son, Jesus Christ, as the Savior. That's all there is to it, really. A lot of "good" people won't make it simply because they don't believe in Jesus.....He is the only Way.

agree almost totally with you.
i believe that there are rapist who while in jail , repent . you cant just condemn someone bad . they do regret too , i cant say they turn good just because they repent but at least it shows they have the heart to change or turn good.
similarly some good people are actually very bad , mastermind of some biggest crime.
there are cases when the police are shock to find out the actual culprit.
you'll never know
edit :
i know the verse that said that our good works are nothing but filthy rags.
but hey look , if you 2 year old kid draw a potrait of you , and although it doesnt remotely look like you , or nice at all , don't you feel touched by a 2 year old actions ?
then again , if you have a 20 year old child and he just bought a potrait for you . even though it look nice , there's little real value compared to the 1st potrait from the 2 year old kid.

You know, before I moved to Georgia, I would have not agreed with you. But since I've been here, I am sorry to say that I've never seen a larger number of people that attend church religiously yet are so far from God in every aspect of their lives. The hypocrisy is astonishing. At least in California people were on the level. The act of going to church of itself does not make you a good person if you are a bad person to begin with. That however seems to be what most people here believe. But I totally agree with you and know that, by the standards of most people here in Joja, I would be heading downtown. But my own belief is that Big Daddy loves me and knows that I am a good person, even if I'm not in church every Sunday. I know I believe in God. But to keep my faith in him, I also have to know that He believes in me. And I do.
