its the fact that i didnt even remotely do it...and its the familys computer, so everyone uses it...so how does she know dad didnt do it, or she didnt do it...They always leave it on the floor when not using, so how can she know..the dog couldve even done it.. I would save up for my own, but pretty much my whole paycheck goes towards my car payment.

It sounds like you should be the better person and pay for it. The next time they offer to loan you something, simply state that you would prefer not to. This will save you from any issues that would occur otherwise. Always be the better person. If they ask you why you don't want to borrow from them, don't pull it all back out. Just say that it is generous, but not needed. Also, Read How to Hug a Porcupine. I swear by this book. It really is a good reference to situations like this.

As long as you are in your parents' house, you will be dealing with these "hits". Thank God they aren't hitting you up for a whole laptop!

I would suggest getting your own computer gear... put aside some money and get in line outside the Best Buy right after Thanksgiving dinner... I'm not kidding on that. We're talking a good laptop for maybe $400.
