Hello:
If you are sick and throwing up,it is best to just have chicken broth and some saltine crackers instead of chicken noodle soup. The reason is because the noodles may upset your stomach even worse,so I would stick to the chicken broth and saltine crackers! I hope you feel better soon and be sure to drink plenty of fluids so you don't dehydrate!

It depends on your other symptoms, but I usually go for chicken noodle soup when I'm feeling puny.
The carbs in the noodles will help give you energy while the broth will give you that chicken enzyme that is so helpful to the healing process....or so they say.

As far as I'm concerned, Chicken noodle soup is chicken broth, it just has some goodies added to it. So either one will be good for what ails you.

Chicken noodle, the extra carbs will help keep you going and will give the body energy to fight the illness. Broth is little more than flavoured water, so you're not going to get much out of it.

There is no secret. I have lost 25 lbs. in a little two-three months by changing my diet and aerobic excercise. I don't eat more than 1200 calories a day (you can't have a lot of sweets or pop, and drink tons of water), trying to keep my diet under 20 g of fat, and doing an hour of vigorous aerobic workouts five times a week. The secret to the diet is not to cut yourself off completely from something. For example... I love cookie dough and Coke. (Not together. Ick!) So once a week, I am allowed to have a big ol' Coca-Cola (but just one), and every now and again, if I am really craving sweets, either one or two balls of cookie dough. You have to change the amount of food you intake and what you intake. I wish there was a quick fix - but trust me, I have tried tham all. Adkins Diet, Cabbage Soup diet, Fat Boy Diet, South Beach, the "No Food" diet... None of them work. The only thing that does work is CHANGING your eating habits and making it something you can live with. And the exercise that I like is Tae-Bo. It's good stuff. (At least the advanced is.) I'm not saying this will work for you - every one is different. This is just what is working for me. Good luck!

Probably it would be better to have the noodle soup, but if you can't keep it down do the broth.

I think the noodles. If I remember right science has even proven now that chicken noodle soup has properties in it that help heal colds and flu.

I'd say the chicken noodles soup because it's more substantial and has more nutrition from all the noodles and veggies.
