16- I became responsible at a very young age. It was a good thing though. I finished school and worked. I don't have any children. I'm married now and bought my first house when I was 20. I had to grow up but it made me who I am today and I wouldn't change that.

Seventeen, but I moved out because I got married to my husband of nine years! It would help to have more information like why you are asking. If you were asking because you want your child out of the house, the best thing is to let him know that he is capable of getting a job and supporting himself. It doesn't hurt, it teaches responsibility. If you just want to move out and you aren't 18 it is your parents choice. Sorry I couldn't answer better. I hope this helps

I was 17. I graduated HS on Thursday, and moved out the following Saturday. I went back to visit and for holidays but never to live. I just couldn't live under their roof any more.

I was eighteen, got my own apartment at twenty three, only to move back home at twenty nine. Sad but true.
