Okay, so I was complaining to my guy friend about being a girl (only because of High School sports and all the politics), and he said at least I'm a pretty girl. And I thanked him (like I always do when he compliments me). But as I thought about it, that wasn't the first time he's said I'm pretty. He's even said I'm beautiful. So, I've been thinking, could he have some sort of feelings for me? There's a two year age difference between the two of us (he can drive and I can't), and we've know each other for about five years (talked on the phone for about 2). I'm not sure if I do, but I have no idea how to figure it out.

well it is possible he is a good flirt or he does like you se my friend did the same thing but her said " Becca you are ******* gorgeous" but my friend is just a flirt.................................so just keep observing your friend more.

It's not so much what he says as "how" he says it. You've known him for a few years now. Do you detect a difference in his overall demeanor when he pays you a compliment? He may be telling you that he would really like to explore a more personal kind of relationship with you. You're on the scene there, so you'll have to make the final call. Good luck.

If the guy tells you you're pretty with a tap on the shoulder, he's being chummy and supportive, if, on the other hand he looks into your eyes while saying it, then there is more to it than just friendly support, so why don't you give him opportunities to elaborate by asking him about your hair style, what he likes in a girl, what kind of girl he would be attracted to, stuff like that with open answer possibilities. he is just saying your pretty, because its a fact and maybe to help you feel better about being the only girl and whatnot, i don't think he has any feelings for you that he has already expressed, besides there would be more signs if he was, yah alot of guys tell my friends and to me that i'm beautiful but they do not have a crush on me, that could be your situation

I think he might just ask him, how u figure it is really up to u I cant really tell u how to figure it out that's something u have to figure out on ya own but trust me when the times right hell tell; like the old saying goes truth will come to light in other words the truth will come out of him, it takes time and patience!!!! It sounds to me you guys might have a thing goin' on. Good for you babe! Honestly, test his feelings out. Flirt with him in a secretive sort of way, like criticize the girls he looks at with things like "Oh, she's way too ugly for you!". If he accepts, you guys def. have something. If not, then I don't know what to tell you.

he's your friend that's why, my guy friends always telling me that i'm cute or pretty or even beautiful..whenever they asked me why i haven't got any boyfriend yet...
he's just being a big brother to you..or maybe not but it's usual to firends to give compliment..once a guy friend told me i'm hot..so it's no big deal guy friends usual help us feel less insecure at times with their compliments...
i just advise you not to think the other way unless he shows more than telling you you're pretty...
