I'm doing a science project that requires an instrument to measure the electromagnetic frequency of electric appliances..... More specifically, cell phones. My science teacher told me stories of how when he did a science project about the effects of cigarette smoke, he wrote the cigg. companies, and they sent him free samples to use.. Another girl needed soap, so she wrote the soap companies - and got free soap.. Others were investigating the effect of caffience of heart-rate.. They got free CASES of Coca-cola.. So on, so forth.. I am curious who I should write to get an EMF measurer shipped to me to use and return... heheheh. And which one you reccomend I should ask for.. There are some that cost 24 dollars, and others ranging in the hundreds.. I need one that works well, and is shippable to me soon. You'd think they wouldn't hesitate to send me one because I am basically doing product testing for them! Heheh.. Thanks!

Unfortunately for you, the cell phone people spend lots of money testing their products for all of the different government regulation (FCC, CE in Europe, etc) that they must adhere to in order to sell their phones. It's unlikely that they would send out a piece of expensive test equipment to someone with little electronics experience to rerun tests that they have run dozens of times.

If you need to rent test equipment for a short time, try ElectroRent or another similar firm.

Since you think everyone is so generous, why don't you ask for some free cell phones as well? Heheheh....
