He will be surprised and you will be able to see it in his expression. Try getting in some exercise and being a little more careful about what you eat. You might lose only a pound or two, but if you put on a lot of weight, than you need to do that for your long term health, not just the short term benefits. It will make you feel more confident about your appearance and therefore happier. However, if he loves you, it will not really matter. When you tell him you lost some weight in anticipation of meeting you, it should stroke his ego real well.

I'd say you better off lose weight for your own sake than for any other person however, 2 weeks is hardly sufficient time for you to lose any weight and worrying about it will make you tense and less confident, so girl, be your happy self, take it as it comes, and, it helps if you put yourself on a diet and it gives you a ready answer for a potential question.

Weight is not a deal breaker to marriage. If he loves you that much he'll be okay with it. Besides, really weight gain is temporary. As long as you want to badly enough you can lose the weight.
I know, I want to lose my extra pounds, but I want to sit on my butt more, so I haven't made much progress.

Just calm down. If you meet up with him and he sees that your a nervous wreck, you'll just turn him off. And if you feel that bad about your weight, try working out. It is possible to lose a couple of pounds in 2 weeks.

If he really likes you, he won't care what you look like. Cliche answer, but I still believe if a person is decent, they won't give it a second thought if you have gained weight or whatever. Good luck!

Well, then he isn't worth it, now is he, dear? If he can't accept you for who you are, then you know that he's not the one.
