Marysia: What?!?!? Back then there were not two million species? That was only 6,000 years ago. And to get to 2 million species that is not that difficult, as you have to take every species of bird, spider, snake, squirrel, bear, etc. That even includes those ones that humans have made extinct on our own. Can you imagine how much food would have had to be on the ark? Those animals were on the ark for 375 days. And to those people who have not read the story of Noah and the ark, it rained for 40 days and 40 nights, but Noah and the animals were on the ark for 375 days. The amount of food alone makes the story a joke, let alone getting all the animals to the ark, then on board (without eating each other or getting hurt). Anyone who has dealt with large animals realizes what that would have been like. And if God could miracle the animals to go to Noah, then why could he not miracle the ark? Why make the poor guy spend 50 years making the stupid thing? God can make the heavens and earth, but an ark is too much for him.

Noah did not - apparently it seems like it's Noah but really it is God !
Ask the Evolutionist, before the process of evolution takes it courses and if there are 30 millions species - how many were there initially, will be a good research Topic, for them to look into.

Gosh. Noah did not load 30 million species of animals on the Ark. He loaded kinds. Big difference. A few kinds can produce millions of species.

Somebody just answered and said that's a minor detail.
Wow, some minor detail.
Another said god brought the animals to the ark. If god did all the work to bring the animals from every part of the world -- why couldn't god also have just built the freakin ark himself? That would have saved a hundred years.

There were only 23 species at the time. Everything else has evolved from them in the past 5000 years.

How dare you question the word of the Lord? Have faith my brother, if God and Rev. Dobbs said he did it, don't question it. God didn't put you here to think, he put you here to follow his word and if you don't you shall be cast into the Lake of Fire, or have to watch Oprah for 7 days...
Maybe God gave him DNA samples of every living Animal in test tubes.. A big freezer full of dna. Did you ever think of that? Well did you?

If you look, you'll find stories of a worldwide flood almost every where. My theory is that there were actually several Noahs, at least one from every culture. They saved all the animals they knew about, which, when you break it down, is not that daunting a task.

personally and logically, I don't think its possible.
Notice how i said "I don't think..."...leaving possibilities beyond my understanding.
You'll have Christians in here who will come right out and say "HE DID IT! I don't know how, but he did wit help from god"....making a factual statement about their belief....they forget they are dealing with beliefs and not FACTS
And isn't it funny how all these christians have different interpretations....are they following the same god, same jesus?
We are certain there were more species during this time then now, think of all the species we have killed off....

No. Noah took the animals "by kind". Dogs, wolves, and coyotes are all one kind, so it's no stretch to believe they had a common ancestor. I believe all canines came from the same set that Noah took on the ark. Same with felines, equines, porcines, etc.

There were only about 300 species at the time. The rest evolved since then.
