So this may be rhetorical .. maybe not...so I'm a college girl and I was dating this guy who I was sure was the best, but he was at another school and I was pretty sure that we were great. So as of this week I found out that he was sleeping with another girl well we were apart and then calling me and telling me that everything was o.k. and that he misses me . what kind of a guy could do this and not feel guilty?

I hate to say it - but you'll find that there are other guys out there who could do that, or worse, and not feel the least bit guilty about. It's hard to fin out that someone you thought was exclusive to you and your relationship wasn't - and even worse when they act like it was nothing at all. It simply shows the person doesn't care for you or your feelings - and that your better off without them, and finiding someone who's trustworthy and caring, that wouldn't do something to hurt you... Just remember - only some guys are like that. There are nice guys out there, they're just a little harder to find.

long distance relationships are difficult. a friend of mine had a loser boyfriend in portland (she lives in la) and she kept lending him money and buying him stuff because he didn't have a job and was a freelance writer (basically, a bum). the relationship went on for about four years and she found out that he cheated on her. he never gave any of her money back (and i'm talking about $20k worth). so this world is full of arseholes but don't be bitter. just take this experience as a lesson and learn from it.

anyhow, you are young and there are plenty of good guys out there.

It sounds to me that your guy is a player. He likes to have his cake and eat it too. Either that or he just can't say no to temptation. Especially if you two have distance between the two of you and he has chances to meet other people.
