Bishops can endorse anyone they choose, even those who put on a parade of Christ on Sunday.
I choose truth, and faithfulness, and denounce fraud.
Fraud only leads one way, and that way is the opposite of the Kingdom of God.

Yes, I believe it is the Pastor's and church Bible Studies that are accountable to perfect the saints in discernment (Ephesians 4:11). Christians should get in the word themselves and ask the Holy Spirit, who is our teacher, to help us (John 16:13; Timothy 2: 15) The televangelist are not responsible for our ignorance. The only way to escape is by revelation in light of God's word and sharing that same insight with fellow saints in the Lord.

Even if he claims that he and his father has been appointed by Jesus, It depends,if what he was talking is good or bad. Whatever it is.It is all in the Bible(The Word of God).
Jesus said "There will come a time, when man will claim that he is God and messiah and will also perform miracles".
He tells all his disciples to Beware about such men.
Thank you for raising up this question.

churches of Kerala, India who themselves are at loggerheads with one another. Is there any escape from the fence eating the yields?
If you live in India get hooked up with some of the good churches and pray for the other ones.

A Short History:
The church of believers that meets at Christian Fellowship Centre (CFC) today commenced with a few families that first met together in Bangalore, India in August 1975. They decided to be disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ first themselves, and then to make disciples in obedience to the Lord's commission in Matthew 28:18-20, emphasizing the new birth, holiness of inner life, mutual love, moral purity, financial integrity and sharing God's truth with others - founding every aspect of their lives on God's Word alone.
CFC is not connected organisationally with any group or church anywhere. We are evangelical in our faith ( See 'what we believe' ) and gladly receive all who are members of the worldwide Body of Christ.
Our Stand On Money Matters:
No reports of the work done or any appeal for finances are ever sent out anywhere. All money that is received as freewill offerings or as voluntary contributions, goes directly to the work of spreading the gospel in India, through conferences, literature and audio-tapes etc. ( See 'Financial Support' )
Eldership:
CFC is led by a plurality of elders. No elder is paid for his work. This is NOT because we feel that such financial support is unScriptural, but because we desire to stand apart from the bad testimony that many Christian workers have had in the matter of finances.
About Bro. Zac Poonen:
Bro. Zac Poonen was formerly an Indian Naval Officer who has been serving the Lord in India for the past 40 years as a Bible-teacher and elder having responsibility for a number of churches.
He has written a number of books and articles in English which have been translated in other Indian languages as well. His messages given in India and abroad are available on audio and video cassettes and CD's. (See the Books, Audio and Video section)
Like the other elders in CFC, Zac Poonen also supports himself and his family through "tent-making" and does not receive any salary for his services. He does not receive any royalty for any of his books, audio tapes, video tapes or CDs, published by Christian Fellowship Centre.

Hello...the only way to escape from the deceitfulness of men or as what you've described as the "robed betrayers" is to get to know the truth. The only way to know the truth is to read the bible which is where you can read the words of God. the God in the Bible. Some "religious" leaders will warn you NOT to read the bible as this might cause you to become insane, this is not true. God used chosen men to write the scriptures so that people will be able to read it, hear it and believe in it. God desired ALL of us to read the Bible to know Him and his commandments. and know the Truth. the Bible is where you will get to know God the creator, His one and only Son Jesus and and the Holy Spirit. You may start reading the book of Romans in the New Testament in the Bible. Please read John 3:16 also. Ask God to guide you and help you understand as you read His words. also try to visit www.livingwordcm.com. thank you.

They are not divine, they are also humans, and we cannot expect too much from them. They also make mistakes, have their own peculiarities, and do things their way. In this world and this time, one can't be very sure of things, the pendulum swings anyway, and we can find fault with any action of any person on this earth.

I don't have a lot of use for "Christians" who dress up in fancy outfits calling themselves "Bishops".
Jesus taught against that type of thing.
