That was a good one but today was good too. My girlfriend and I drove my daughters car two hours away, where she is going to grad school. She worked her butt off to get her drivers license and now doesn't have to walk in the rain, or wait for the bus. I'm pretty happy today that she succeeded.

Frankly, everyday is the best day of your life if you let it be. When you have kids, the first day is just the first day.

Congradulations! I am so happy for you! Most men don't realize that having daughters is such a blessing. Most men want sons. I have three sons and one daughter. They are all grown now, but my daughter recently had her own daughter. Her boyfriend was disappointed that it was a girl. (I'm giving him some time. LOL)

Daughters will always run to greet you at the door, "Daddy! Daddy!" Daughters will always take your side against Mommy. Daughters will never hold a grudge against their daddy. Daughters will love you unconditionally. Sons on the other hand are all for Mom. Mom can do no wrong in the son's eyes. Boys will challange Dad's authority as teens until it almost comes to blows.

I always laugh when a man says he wants a son, because what he doesn't know until he has one is, he may want a son, but he needs a daughter. Bless you all, have a wonderfilled life! :)

I've often told people that the happiest day of my life was when my mother in law moved 500 miles away from where I lived. It still holds true.

Yes I quite agree, the birth of my first child was the most amazing physical joy I have ever experienced, however, The day that I first recognized my Heavenly Father's tender, loving, voice, via the Holy Spirit, Well that definately eclipsed all other earthly joys for sure! There's nothin' in this world that can compare to that!
