I've always wondered about them vestigial organs. You missed out coccyx. :-P
Martin S: Vestigial does not mean useless.
"Independently of evolutionary theory, a vestige can also be defined typologically as a reduced and rudimentary structure compared to the same homologous structure in other organisms, as one that lacks the complex functions usually found for that structure in other organisms"

Wisdom teeth are necessary for replacing lost teeth, prior to the era of modern dentistry nearly all people lost some teeth by the time their wisdom teeth came in altering the structure of their mouth before and after the loss of baby teeth and the onset of permanent teeth. Coincidentally, modern dentistry both allows us no longer need of wisdom teeth but also allows us a very comfortable experience of removal compared to the pain suffered from years of dental problems.
The appendix is useful for immune system function; it appears useless only because as the diet and lifestyle of most people changed during the last couple of centuries due to worldwide trade and preservation advancement affecting the fecal matter of people causing it to often get stuck resulting in appendicitis. Simply put we do not know enough about nutrition to properly understand the appendix and how to keep it healthy.
Someone could say the same for a pinkie finger or long hair, but the simple fact is humans are just the way they were created.

An appendix handles bodily wastes and toxins, very few of them 'malfunction'. Wisdom teeth are not inherently bad. I still have all mine and they are totally fine. So neither my appendix or wisdom teeth has been a problem, so how can you say somehow God didn't create us?
With millions of years of evolution, shouldn't these things be solved anyway? So your argument works against you. I mean evolution can create a beautiful parakeet but not know how to get rid of wisdom teeth?
So what though? I am legally blind. I don't think I was "created wrongly", it is just the way I am. I don't ask to be perfect; we learn a lot from our imperfections.

Do you prefer to have been a child who is dangling by a thread ; and God has the scissors ready to cut it so that you fall into destruction if you ever displease Him ? God knew that we would need something concrete to stand on ; so , there was some relief when we believed that our world is solid , and that we have evolved from apes , and are pretty much guaranteed that as long as we eat right , vote for and support a good government , and treat everyone else as we would like to be treated then we should have a long life . And then later on we might begin to wonder about things like : Is there life after death ; and how can I be assured that I'll be able to enter Heaven if i do die ? And , if we exercise a little bit of faith that perhaps God really does exist , maybe that will lead us on to something we might like more than if we never did .

Because our bodies are losing information, becoming slowly "worse" over time.. Think of it like a copy machine. If you make a copy of a document, then make a copy of the copy, then make a copy of the copy of the copy, etc, the image will fade a little more with each copy. We are just a copy of our parents, and our kids are a copy of us. We lose information. Body parts don't work as well today as they did for our ancestors. This may explain why wisdom teeth are now problematic for us.. As for the appendix, see Martin's answer above. ^

back in the day we could eat raw meat with out a problem and the appendix would help break down that raw meat without getting sick. now that we cook our meat...we don't need it anymore.
I'm not so sure about our wisdom teeth. all i know is that i got em removed and it was a horrible process for me.
M: I'm a christian i didn't respond with your kind of statement. shows how much you know.

first to "M". the fact that you call christians idiots probably shows seeing as how your best answer percentage is.... 0%.
Secondly, the bible only says we WERE created by God, not HOW we were created by God. The stupid bashers on here dont read the Bible, they base all their arguments on bible verses taken out of context and write their song and dance arguments on it.
God could have created us thru EVOLUTION, ever consider that?

This is a question you can ask God if he welcomes you into his kingdom. If you dont believe in God you will not get a chance to ask him this when you stand before him at the judgement. He will be asking the questions.
Hebrews 9:27... it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Come to Christ

Please google it up. Both have important physical functions in our body. Wisdom teeth for example prevent your molars from shifting to the back. It is only recently that doctors are realizing these things.
