The soul never dies only the physical vehicle wears out and stops. However, there are always more physical vehicles being conceived that the soul can migrate to just before the physical vehicle is given is given its independence from a woman's womb.

Matthew 11:14
And if ye will receive [it], this is Elias, which was for to come.

So John the baptist was a reincarnation and like us he could remember because he said he wasn't and John wasn't the kind to lie.

Most Christians today think it was because John was "special" but nope he was just another human and what applies to him applies to us.

Early Church documents from the first century to the fourteenth century indicate that if not the majority of Christians at least a very large number believed in reincarnation until they were killed of by the Catholic Church as Heretics it's ironic that the Catholics claim to be the first Church today considering how many Christians they killed to monopolize the faith.

I love Catholics I'm referring to their historical reality not their current condition.

Your question and philosophy have absolutely NOTHING to do with either the Bible or Christianity.

The spirit of a person is unique to that individual ('cogito ergo sum' -- not biblical, but self evident); it identifies all that he is. It does not migrate anywhere. Upon death, God keeps the spirit (which is NOT conscious of anything) for the time of resurrection -- when it will be given either an immortal body or mortal body.

1 Corinthians 15:38-44 -- But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed ITS OWN BODY.
. . .
So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

See also Ezekiel 37 that those who do not have God's spirit in them at death, will be resurrected to a second physical life, a physical body.

At which time they will be judged:
Daniel 7:10 -- A fiery stream issued And came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands ministered to Him; Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The court was seated, And the books were opened.

Revelation 20:12, 15 -- And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
. . .
And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

However, if a person is judged incorrigibly wicked, then BOTH body AND spirit will be destroyed forever, in the Lake of Fire:
Matthew 10:28 -- And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to DESTROY both soul and body in hell.

False religion has sold the world on the "immortal soul" fallacy; because they follow after the teachings of the Devil, who told Eve, "You will not surely die" (Genesis 3:4). But the Bible reveals a very different story:
Ezekiel 18:4 -- "Behold, all souls are Mine; The soul of the father As well as the soul of the son is Mine; The soul who sins shall die."

I am a Christian.

What I say about the afterlife.

Their are billions of people in the world that believe in the afterlife and only a few that don't. 97.944% of all statistics are made up on the spot by the way. Anyways , if the majority of the world is to believe in something who is to deny them this belief? Who is to say they are wrong , when they are the majority. When the majority gives up that belief then we can say it is a wrong belief.

What does the afterlife entail?
No one knows. For no one has truly died. They may have had episodes where it seemed like they were dead , but they weren't truly dead. So anyones guess is as good as the next persons. Also the fight over the afterlife and what it entails goes on to prove even further that no one knows. That even scriptures that tell us have bean taken the wrong way by someone.

So to some up all I can say is:
#1 There is an afterlife
#2 No one can prove what it entails.

Bonus Material:
The fight over how you get there also proves that no one knows what constitutes acceptance or denial into a specific afterlife. The scriptures they site as their reasoning have also bean misunderstood for too long. A god may have inspired them , but he sure isn't helping the readers to understand them. Humans are helping the readers to understand them. A very biased point of view you are likely to get there , unless the reader is welling to go over every interpretation of the text before him/her , in every translation that has bean made.

False. The soul does not migrate from one vehicle(as you call it) to another in Judeo/Christian belief. You are talking reincarnation a false belief If you read the Bible, you will clearly see that a vehicle and hence a soul is individualistic and once created will live eternally. I don't need to prove it to you. God will prove it when your vehicle wears out and your soul either goes to heaven or hell. The choice is yours. Come to Christ

Supposedly all souls go away from the earth when the people die, and when a new person is born a new soul is created for it.

That's what I'm thinking church folks would say. But there is no soul and there is no after-life, so it really doesn't matter.

there's a e book called 'adventure of the Soul', won't be in a position to keep in mind the hynotherapist that wrote it yet its a conglomerate of like memories instructed with the aid of customers 'decrease than' who defined what occurred to them - their soul- upon exiting their frshly deceased physique, and in tremendous info. all the appropriate memories are the comparable! i hit upon that extraordinary. via my own very own journey I of course keep in mind shifting into this fact on a homing beacon in the direction of the physique I occupy now. It replaced right into somewhat over 3 years old. It replaced into as we talk I took up finished residency, yet I keep in mind 2 earlier visits to it. possibly to combine with this physique techniques? so so a strategies as get admission to on the instant upon the physique's start? possibly, and probably in straight forward terms a speedy circulate to and extra than a number of alternative returns till locked in. those 2 issues are my in straight forward terms 'info' yet I easily have self belief this is what happens.

The spirit never dies but can be cast into the lake of fire for non believe. This is why you do not worry who can destroy the body but who is greater can destroy your soul.

And what is this based on?

So, now you say no one has individuality - we are all just recycled souls. Are you kidding? How do you explain increase in population?

Suppose I kill you (I really would not) and you are recycled - come back in 20 years and prove to me that it is you in a new "vehicle".

It is appointed for a man to live ONCE, then die a physical death and be judged by God

So..............you get no more "vehicles".
