2002 vw passat?

The 2002 vw paast is the worst car I have ever owned ! I bought it and within 4weeks I had to change the transmision this took 4 weeks on the way home from the garage the ABS lite came on and now the ABS is actvated at 20km per hour.
This was 5 days ago now the engine lite is on again and blinking the car is shaking and has no power. I really thought when I bought it I was getting a good car I guess I will try and trade it in if I can find a dealer to take it.

It's a VW and obviously you got suckered into buying some else's problem. The former owner likely knew about some of the problems and if you had to replace the transmission for $3K I'm sure you won't get anymore money back trading it in now.
If you decide to ever buy another used car you MUST take it to a independent mechanic prior to purchase unless its from a dealer with a minimum 90 day warranty.
