How to cope with wavering thoughts?
Versatile are flying clouds,
Yet from the sky they’re not apart.
Mighty are the ocean’s waves,
Yet they are not separate from the sea.
Heavy and thick are banks of fog,
Yet from the air they’re not apart.
Frantic runs the mind in voidness,
Yet from the Void it never separates.

I would beg to differ with Namaste, as poetic as he/she might be, but only slightly.

I had to re-think that just now. I actually do think that all of us have a piece of the truth to share. The problem is, that instead of spelunking our hearts and minds for this truth, which is a heck of a lot of work, some people take the easy way out and trade their Truth for a facsimile of it. Facsimiles are always simpler to deal with than the real thing.

But if all of us forewent the easy way and if we got in touch with that individual truth, and put all our perspectives together, we would have a big picture of Truth.

By definition, all truths are right, which is to say, true. But tautological statements don't get us very far.

Truths may be "individual," in that each statement can be evaluated as distinct from any other statement. However, if by individual truths, you mean that a statement made by one person and a contradictory statement made by another person are both true because they were made by individuals, you violate the principle of contradiction. Thus, if one person says that God created the heavens and the earth, and another person says God is a fiction, both statements cannot be true.

indeed..

this was a huge leap in my spiritual development- accepting that - for my fundamentalist father and his family-

their own truths are right for them- they do have their own experience of God and of divine love- whether or not i agree with the form- the words..and that my judgment was the mirror

and i began to see how it's all perspective, that the words can either get in the way- or you can choose to see the love working it's magic in many forms through many different avenues and forms
