Oh! The computer is a device that gives the ADHD brain what it needs...immediate feedback. I can push a button or move my mouse and I get immediate response. No need to twiddle my thumbs as my fingers and hands are always moving.

The computer is so much better for ADHD people because:
- I don't have to wait for it stop talking so I can say something. (the computer multi-tasks)
- I don't have to wait to meet someone before I give them info (email)
- An interactive flashy game is available at the touch of a button
- What other activity can I be listening to music, chatting with 3 people at once, using two message boards and have a game to alt-tab over to in the blink of an eye.

Sitting still? How and why would I leave?

Good point them having to sit still. An individual with ADHD may also lack some of the patients to stay "on task". Some computer skills are arduous and require staying with it.

Well I have ADD and I know that my computer usage greatly impacts my life. I don't get antsy, I don't get bored because there is so much to do and look at. If it wasn't for this computer I would be strung out on medication and my life would be more of a mishap.
