I bought a Mossberg 590 for home security. Recently I've gone shooting some trap. I'm told the 590 has a cylinder bore barrel and a barrel with a removable choke can bump up my game.

Talk to a Gunsmith about installing a Poly-choke on the end of your barrel.* It is an adjustable choke and goes from improved cylinder to modified to full choke in the twist of your wrist. It would be more versatile and useful and the least expensive.*

Buying another barrel will probably be as cheap as having someone machine and thread for an adjustable choke. I'm guessing that a new barrel with a couple of chokes will cost around $150.00.

But then you have an all around hunting, protection gun.

I just had my Rem. 1100 tapped out for chokes yesterday. The guy charged me $45 to do it. The chokes were about $20 apiece.
