hi mj..im not trying to ban anyones access to telly programmes. you could always push the subtitles button on the remote control. there is no need to spoil the programme for the rest of us by having a woman doing sign language taking up a quarter of the screen. it should be banned.

ROFL!

Please reread what you typed, a blind person cannot see so how can they see the sign language only deaf people can

As a Deaf person, I can't tell you how offended I am by you wanting to ban our access to television, the same fair rights that you are automatically given as a hearing person.

I understand that you are ignorant, our young, (or both) especially because you said 'blind', but geez, have a little heart and considerations for others who are not perfectly hearing like you!

Close caption is better for the hearing impaired. Ever watch the Disney channel,? The big mouse ears get in the way. I don't watch tv period! Every network has their name or logo in the bottom right-hand of the screen. I can't stand that!

I'm not really sure why she's there, I haven't seen her in years. Anyway, most deaf people just use closed captioning. The only reason she might be is if it's sign language corner.

sign language is for deaf people, not for the blind. Don't you think deaf people have the right to know what the speaker is saying?
