it sounds like depression from having to give up someone u loved. could be alot of reasons but its probably the loss of your love. get some therapy, when we loose someone we love it does hurt, we will be depressed for awhile. it takes time to get over hurt, because your reality did not match your expectations.

Can you be alittle more specific.
If you didn't want to break up with your ex, maybe your being down on yourself .And saying if I'd done this or that. She'd still be here.
If that's what you mean. It's like digging a hole for yourself and your making it bigger all by yourself.
Give yourself time to get over your feelings for this person.Don't make it worse ,by pulling yourself down more,o.k.!!!!!!!!!!

"Situational" depressions can last from days to months.

But if it's been more than 6 months and you're still unable to find pleasure in things that used to make you happy, it's time to consult a psychiatrist.

Depression *is* a disease, and it can be treated.
