Astro, there is no such thing as a literal end times or end of days, that refers to an esoteric reality of which has complete and direct reference to our own inner enlightenment into our greater, higher being.
I'm not saying that the earth doesn't go through changes, it does, but these are natural changes invoked by laws which are cosmic and has been occurring since the earth was. No literal end times or end of days. The only way to apply scripture is to do so within yourself, to turn them within, this is what can be called "applying the key of knowledge." All those philosophy questions, you must know this!

The earth was said the be spherical ( round) in shape by the Bible, centuries before Columbus and Magellan indicated that it was not flat, check Isaiah 40: 22. Whoever said that the Bible said it is flat, is mistaken, nowhere in the Bible does it say that it was flat. Also long before astronauts had a glimpse of the earth hanging in empty space, the Bible pointed out that it is suspended upon nothing, (no visible support) Job 26: 7. There are more, but my point is ; The very events that are going on in the earth, and that we listen to in the news daily, were foretold for our generation,a composite " sign" consisting of many kinds of world events,Matthew ch. 24, Luke ch 21, 2Timothy 3:1 - 5,2 Peter ch. 2 and 3, for some examples. Yes, we are very close to the entire end of , not the earth itself, but of the wicked system of things on it. Rev. 11: 18. The generation of " The Last Days" is nearly a century old, beginning at the start of ww1 forward," nation against nation", etc., and some will still be living when God's time to end suffering and injustice arrives.

I do not believe in date setting but there are plainly signs of the times that prove that the coming of the Lord is near. But before the coming of the Lord, the 7 year Tribulation must occur where the false messiah, the Antichrist will come onto the world scene and deceive everyone into believing He is god. He will cause everyone rich and poor, bond and free to receive a mark of ownership to hima and Many Christians now believe this "Mark' is now here and being used in animals and wildlife. It is a computer microchip Implant. It can hold the Identity records of each person and will do away with all money transactions. It can be monitored by satillite and will be received by those who are ignorant of it's spiritual significence linking it up to the Antichrist, the son of Satan. The FDA has already approved this device safe for humans but the Word of God explains it's dangers in Revelation 13-16. but check out ( trumpetmin.org )and click on could this be the mark? And read the information of one who was the Tec. Designer of this device back in the early 70's. If you aqlso believe that we are nearing the end as we know it this site is a must for all..God bless you..And what ever you do, DON"T receive this device under your skin...It will be made law in order to buy or sell but there are ways around it. Find out how...And get this site out to all you know..

We get closer every day. But don't expect it anytime soon. Christians are always finding "signs" that point to an imminent Apocalypse and keep predicting new specific dates--without even a shred of embarassment when those dates pass and nothing happens , even though Jesus said, "You shall not know the hour of my coming."
But, then again, He's just God, what does He know?
The end of the World during the Winter Solstice of 2012 isn't even of Christian origin. It's the date that the Mayan Calendar sets for the end of the Bloodthirsty Age of the Jaguar.
I guess the anticipated Peace would seem like the end of the World to most Christians--considering their own bloodthirsty predelictions, but the Mayans didn't see it that way. It was just another age to them. They figured that they'd have 500-600 years to do an update. Then the Spanish invaded and they just never got around to it.
So, despite what the Christians say, you don't want to repeal the Social Security Act.

For the last several years, we have had people saying we are near the end and have even predicted dates.
Yet, the one key ingredient was missing, that now exists. That is Israel being a nation.
When Israel became a nation, the clock began to tick. It is written that this generation will not pass until all things be fulfilled.
Matt. 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
So are we in the end times, I believe we are. Just as there are six days in a week for work and one day for rest, men have endured for just barely of 6000 years and the time of rest will be coming in the clouds.

Yes we are. In the past, people had no conception we could be so horrible to ourselves. The signs were there always but not the severity of them.
Jesus said not even he knew the exact time, only God did and would tell him then. He did give us indications when this would be.
There is still false religion to be destroyed by the political powers to go as it shows in Revelations about Babylon the Great. So things will continue to get worse.
We should be happy as this means shortly afterward all God's great promises for the earth will occur after wickedness is cleansed from the earth. God's Kingdom will rule. For Christians, what could be better?

Israel is God's prophetic timepiece. Keep an eye on Israel and the middle east. There are big precursors to prophecies being fulfilled as we speak, as they relate to Israel.
Predicting a day of the rapture, which happens before the tribulation, is something a person should not do. A truly born again Christian is to live in anticipation of the glorious coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I firmly believe we are living in the last of the last days. As a student of the Bible, and the prophecies therein, all I can say is.....the stage is set, all the actors are in place, and the curtain could go up at any moment. Are you ready?

Religion doesn't want you to know that the end of days scare has been going on for thousands of years. Biblical people were also told that the end was near. When it doesn't happen, people soon forget and religion starts it up again. Remember 'y2k' in the year 2000? Every religion uses fear and guilt. 2012 is just another example. I guarantee that religion will start it up again in 2013.

Not necessarily because the Book of Revelations predictions, but I think we are in a very high-risk period in our history. First, global warming is a real thing, and threatens to create real havoc in a very few years. Second, there is all this religious war between fundamentalist Christians and fundamentalist Muslims, putting the rest of us in the middle and at risk. Third, the US government has gotten really out of hand, and specifically outside the Constitution. And the US shapes way too much of what happens to the rest of the world.
We don't need to sit back and wait for Jesus to Rapture us: we need to get to work to solve these problems!
