We got the picture onto the tv via s-video cable everything is working fine but we cant get the audio to come out of the television speakers the computer is a dell notebook xps and the tv is a sony vega

are there any other cords that i need or any other cords that i need to plug somewhere else

an s-video cable will only bring video to the t.v. to hear sound on your t.v, you must have an headphone to rca cable. they cost about 5 bucks. it looks something like this

yes, you need a two-way adaptor from the computer speakers to the TV via an RCA connection.

use headphone jack from ur notebook as audio out source n connect to ur tv audio input that is the same set as u use to connect ur video.the cable to come out from ur notebook will be stereo phono 3.5mm jack male n to ur tv will b rca red n white male.
