I thought Hamill won 2 of the 3 rounds (Rd 1 and Rd 3). To give Bisping the fight the judges had to give him major points for the barrage of punches at the end of round 3. I was surprised at this decision. Hamill does have to improve his ground game to be a better fighter. He should of fed off his domination from standup in round one and pummeled Bisping on the ground in Rd 2. Its like Hamill forget his wrestling roots. He is not going to get many more chances to get a decisive victory, but this one should have been his.

I totally agree Bisping should have never won that fight!! How much did he walk through with Joe Rogan? Not much, right because he had nothing! Matt didn't fight on the ground because of an injury (I'm from his area). I was also told that the Judge that ruled 30-27 was British and the 2 other Judges were Americans! Can you believe it! Not that that should make a difference but I'm sure everyone's thinking the Judges were probably all from England. Matt got screwed and even today he's still a gentleman and not saying too much about the decision. Bisping could only wish to have that much class. He knows he lost that fight and still had nothing nice to say!

I sent the following email to contacts on the UFC website:
I started watching the Bisping-Hamil fight cheering for Bisping. He is an awesome fighter who Ive liked from the beginning - fighting out of his home. It was unfortunate that he was dominated by Matt Hamill. It was appalling that the decision was given to Bisping when the fight was clearly won by Hamill. The speech Bisping gave following the fight only made matters worse. Although heartbroken, Hamill handled the decision graciously. I hope Dana will address this issue somehow and maintain the integrity of the sport. I will be a Matt Hamill fan from here on out.

There is no doubt that Hamill won the fight. All Bisping did the entire fight was circle to his left (which Hamill should have cut off) and throw lazy jabs. He had no takedown defense at all.
However, it did go to a decision. Decisions are just 3 opinions and they can get skewed. If you want to be the clear winner, learn to finish a fight!

This "fixed" **** needs to stop. It's not fixed. They're not all on steroids. Shut up.
If you know anything about UFC scoring history, you would know that Jeff Mullen and Cecil Peoples are ******* idiots. Dana has nothing to do with them. It's the NSAC. DUH!
BTW... Kendall DID beat Ed. Takedowns or no, Hamill dominated every aspect of that fight.

I used to be a huge UFC fan, paying to watch every PPV fight. However, I am utterly convinced that the UFC is fixed, and no longer a legitimate fight organization, and no longer count myself as a fan. Ironically I was rooting for Bisping the whole fight, but I'd rather see my fighter lose with honor than win in disgrace.

the takedowns would have helped more if hamill had taken advantage of them instead of letting bisping up immediately after every time he got him down.

Matt Hamill clearly won I have seen the match several times now and each time I've seen Matt make cleaner contact with Bisping's face with his punches.

Ya know... you really should re-evaluate yourself...making fun of someone with a disability...common. grow up.
Also. if i went 15 minutes of pure fighting I would be out of breath and it would be hard to understand me... Matt had to learn how to talk without ever hearing a spoken word. For his disability, he is a very good speaker.
Give the guy a break.
