I like Absolut (Sweden`s finest export) ,Stolichnaya but Polish Vodka is the original and still the best.
I prefer Zubrowka (Bison Grass Vodka) it is a pale green colour due to the blade of Bison Grass inserted into every bottle. It is particularly delicious when served with Apple Juice in the Polish style.
Alexiis - of course your Smirnoff had large ice chunks if you put it in the freezer you numpty - that was the water freezing.Vodka is always better after freezing since the alcohol remains and the water freezes (you just throw the ice away - instant stronger voddie).

Grey Goose is the best if you are willing to pay the price. Skky Vodka is also good and its a little cheaper.

As someone who is recovering from an alcohol problem, I'd say none :s!! I've tried a few of the brands and can't really tell the difference. They all taste like paint stripper to me!
Seriously, I used to drink Grants / Glens and it was fine although pubs don't sell it just shops and off licences. You have to be a bit of a connoisseur to really tell if it's high quality, and you have to be able to drink it straight!

im going to have to say that skyy is one of the best, i started off with smirnoff, its great if you just need somthing cheap to get drunk off of, but ive said this befeore, its up to the drinker some people have different tastes, what ya need to do is just hit up a liquer store and try one each time you go in there, most places have the small bottles and its a cheap way to find what you like without all the wasted booze..
