I know of no Catholic that needs to be saved.
Being Raised Devout Catholic -- I converted to an alternative belief because of unanswered questions.
But the Catholic Religion is as good of a religion as all the rest.

<> Because your pastor told you? How do you know your pastor is right? Based on whose authority? You do not need to "save" your friend. Catholicism is the Church established by Christ. It was the only Christian faith (including Orthodox) for over 1500 years; if you were a Christian, you were a Catholic. Protestantism takes a lot of it's own teachings from Catholicism, even the Bible is Catholic. Who do you think chose which books would be in the Bible and which would not? The Catholic Church. <> We all know, no such thing. Many Catholics love and follow Christ and there are many, many Catholics in heaven. Don't worry about your friend. Instead try doing to some research to find out the truth about the Catholic Church and the history of religion.

There are many ways you can save your catholic friends, depending on the specific situation:
If he in deep water and cannot swim, throw him something that floats
If he has accidentally touched a live wire, turn off the power
If he has high blood pressure, convince him to diet, get exercise and see a doctor.
If he has a severe cut, aaply pressure to the cut or apply a torniquot, then get him to a doctor
If he has taken poison, call 911
If he has been shot, stop the bleeding and get him to the emergency room.
There are many ways in which you could save your Catholic friend. These methods will also save your non-Catholic friends.

About half of the members of our church used to be catholics . After talking to some of them they said they were blinded until they heard the truth ( gospel ) and their eyes were opened . I am working with a guy from Cleveland, Ohio who is a catholic. He notices I don't talk like them , stare at the women walking by , I'm not into worldly things. I tried to witness to him but they are blinded .He says he is going to heaven but he can't quote a scripture ,he doesn't read the bible , says Mary IS NOT a sinner . I quote Romans 3:23 , and Luke 1:37 .I asked him if he tithes , He didn't know what I was talking about .I explained it to him gave him booklets on tithing ,Satan , and common asked question for Christians. The next day he said "I will never give 10% . He says to me " it's your way or no way ". I reply no , it's the word of the bible that is the way .The only suggestion is always be an example of the " Light " of the world especially in company with them , quote scripture when you can and maybe give them a tract, YOU can not force it on them . Try to sow the seed . Give him questions from the bible to answer .Ex " Why couldn't Moses enter the promise land ?" He probably can't answer it, then explain the answer to him . Pray to God for guidance and wisdom in talking to your friends . Sow the seed !! www.fbbc.com

If you are aware of the fact Catholics can be saved, then why bother attempting to convert them?
NO ONE can be forced to come to God before they are ready. Doing anything that even looks like you might be trying to force them might only further distance them from God.
Let them be, until they are ready to seek God - and then - allow them to seek God via the Catholic Faith. As God is patient, working on us slowly, so you too must be patient and allow God to do His work.
Pray more, preach less.

It's not you who does the "saving", dear, when you are witnessing to others. That's the sole privilege of the Holy Spirit.
In any case, you needn't fret on account of your Catholic friends. They are indeed saved by grace through faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ, just as you are. The difference is that while for you it is a single moment in which you "got saved", for them it is a process of responding to God's grace and living out their faith. They are also "born again", or regenerated from original sin, at baptism.
Perhaps one of your friends who is well-versed in his or her faith can explain it to you further.

Roman Catholics are members of one of the two oldest denominations of Christianity. The other is Orthodox Christianity.
Both of these denominations have historical documentation of Christian beliefs going back 1600+ years.
Why would you want them to "convert" to Christianity when they are Christian ALREADY?

You don't try to convert them, if you try to hard you push them away. If you really want to just mention it casually and see what they feel about it, if their interested then you have a chance without losing a friend if not dont continue

Let me get this straight. You think that your Catholic friends are hell-bound because they belong to the Catholic Church?
Look, I don't care if they belong to the Church of the Whatever, if they have accepted that Jesus died for them and have repented, they are your spiritual brothers and sisters.
Period. Catholic, Methodist, Baptist, Pentacostal, doesn't matter.
Its what they believe that matters, right?
