Apparently, Al Quaida was behind two suicide bombers who killed 57 people. So there was a massive demonstration by Muslims protesting the violence. Now let me get this straight - Muslims in Algeria risked more violence - possibly death - to protest Islamic violence in a place where Al Quaida is out in force, but American Muslims - living in a relatively safe place that hasn't had an Al Quaida attack since 2001 - sit around on sites like this one whining about how they hate violence but no one wants to listen. What's wrong with this picture, folks?

Those Muslims in Algeria are a brave bunch!
I personally think many of the Moderate American Muslims are just as afraid of the Radicals as we are.
The Moderates are hated by the Radicals almost as much as we, the infidels, are.

One might suggest that protesting against something that hasn't happened in 6 years here might be a waste of time. Seriously, how would they be trying to send a message to? Protesters in Algiers are protesting the behavior of neighbors. Protesters here would be largely addressing foreigner like bin Laden, and do you really think he's listening?

Perhaps American Muslims think education is more useful at this point in time.

It's about time that Muslims fight back against Al Queda.
