What does my head in completely is the fact that i may become something more and go on or i may cease to exist entirely because i am nothing more than a bioloical macine.
THAT scares the shi* out of me. The fact that i will die and become nothing but a memory of those that live long enough to rememver me. I am nothing. Never really was. Just a living entity that will never exist again. No memories. No nothing. Is THAT why we're all so desperate to cling to christianity?
Wanting to be ourselves so much that we're scared of losing the person we are and enjoy being. If life is so bad then why the hell do we cling to it so?

I don't believe in the Biblical heaven but the idea of an afterlife is more appealing. I think that sort of goes without saying.

Whether such a thing actually exists is a whole other question.

My choice is Understanding Nirvana-----in your words "dissolving into nothing and everything in the peace of non".

Because in Nirvana there is "no sufering" that means nothing to worry. No one to trouble you,not even you.

The life in the heaven will end some day as any other life and then you will be back to suffering .It should be a temporary thing as every thing in this universe has an end.

Heaven without a doubt, I've always wondered high how the sky goes. But definately what I would like most of all, would be to live as many lives until it's exactly to the way I like it and is perfect in everyway, with lots of love and joy and happily ever after.

Isn't what's really true more important than what's most appealing? The beer volcano and stripper factory of the Pastafarian heaven is appealing to me, but that doesn't make me think it's real.

I'd rather take the dissolving into nothing. I don't want to spend an eternity with anyone. How crap would that be. Also, you got to give someone else a chance to come into the world and make their mistakes.

I'll take nonexistence anyday. I like myself, but the thought of being me for all eternity is really horrifying. Sometimes I get weirded out when I start thinking about existing...you can't shut it off, even when you sleep. You can't escape from...being...and sometimes I would like to be able to just stop. The thought of never getting any peace is...the worst thing I can think of.
