The "love" of money is the root of all evil. People will do things for money which can sacrifice their very soul - drug dealers, prostitutes, thieves and scammers, gambling addictions. Many rich people helped Jesus and his apostles do their work. A good Bible story about this is the woman who poured the frangrant oil on Jesus' feet. Judas, who was the keeper of the poor box, criticized her for foolishly doing this. The oil was very costly and could have been sold and the money used to help the poor said Judas, according to the Bible. Judas was more concerned about dollars and cents than sense and scents (excuse the puns). What the woman did in showing charity, mercy, love and devotion was worth more than money could buy. A house is not a home, a car is not a road trip, a locket not an heirloom. Likewise, faith cannot be purchased, wisdom cannot be bought.

1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil: which some reaching after have been led astray from the faith, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
It is the love of money which is the root of all kinds of evil. Money is a tool, the problem is that some people love it and serve it more than God. It is not the root of all evil, just all sorts of evil. We can think of plenty of sins that do not involve money.

just look at what people do to get it.they kill, lie, scam, and what ever else can be done to get it.so yes money is the root of all evil by all means.look at all the people who are staving in the world.the people with the food don;t give it away to someone going hungry.everything is about how much money you have and how do i find out how to get it from you.man has made it a necessary tool in life.

No. It is the love of money--also known as greed--that is said to be the root of all evil. In truth, the absence of love is at the basis of all that is evil.
Money is (this is kind of complicated and hard to understand unless you think about it) merely symbolic energy, not inherently good OR evil. It is the intention of the human interacting with the money that makes the difference between good and bad.

Some have said this.
1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
But forgot this.
Luke 20: 25He said to them, "Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.
So please, do not expect money in the kingdom of God and the Lamb.
For the love of money. Does not mean to say the money is good. Should a man not eat because he has not money?.
Should your children not drink because they have not money?.

No one ever said money is the root of all evil. Where did you hear that nonsense?
What the bible says is THE LOVE OF MONEY is the root of all evil. See the difference?
Love God, be kind to your neighbors, and use money. Don't get it all wrong, and end up loving money, using people, and ignoring God.
