Losing weight is not just about eating right. It also involves exercise.

Basically, the concept is this: For every 3500 calories you eat and don't burn, you gain 1 pound. Gaining weight doesn't happen overnight, nor does losing weight.

In order to lose weight, you must burn more calories than you take in. So, if you 'eat well' yet don't become more active, you can stay the same weight and remain disappointed.

You know your lifestyle better than anyone else. The first step is to be honest with yourself and admit that you want to change. Then, make an observation of what you eat and how much you move your body on a daily basis. A diary would be great for your nutrition and fitness activities.

In general, do more exercise/move your body more every day than you've ever done before. Make better food choices and eat moderate portions. You can still eat what you want, but introduce new foods and more of a variety of foods so your body will have what it needs.

Take a multivitamin (like Double X from Nutrilite) to round out your meals. Eat more protein and fruits and vegetable, less sugar/carbs and fat. If you tend to eat more convenience foods than actually prepare and cook your meals, there are healthier choices out there, like the Trim Advantage meal replacement or protein snack bars and shakes, and the Simply Nutrilite bars and drinks (all available on www.arcebal.com). These food bars and drinks are certified organic, high in protein, low in sugar/carbs and fat, and they taste great! (I use them myself.)

I would recommend checking out the Trim Body system, which consists of a 30-day progressive meal plan with recipes, exercise routines, food bars and drinks for the first few weeks, supplements to help curb appetite (Nutrilite's HCA Plus) and lose fat, not muscle (Nutrilite's CLA 500), and DVDs with exercise routines and medical/health advice from leading experts in the field of health, fitness, and weight management.

Lastly, make sure you have a great support system: friends, family, and a 'coach' to help you through your weight loss goals.
