You have a right to listen to your own heart. It is hard--maybe impossible--to change the minds of other people, but you have your own right to believe as you will.
I'm not as familiar with the Narnia Chronicles as some other people might be, but I know that angels are "magical creatures" and that the purification of a human soul is the highest magic there is. We "spin" the words of our own languages. It is US that make "magic" something that is against the will of God. Is love not magic?

It parallels the gospel story.

The guilt and atonement of Edmund (mankind),
The sacrifice of Aslan for the redemption of Edmund,
The death and resurrection of Aslan (Christ),
The final result of the triumph of good over evil.

It is a fictional work, not a spin on the word of God.
The movie was not made to be religious propaganda.
It's pagan mythology stays true to the book's fairytale theme.
I enjoyed the movie for it's fantasy and imagination.

Rating: 2 thumbs up! and 5 stars!
This was just one of the books by C.S. Lewis - it's a classic.

If the Chronicles of Narnia are causing this much stress in your life, you may want to see a therapist. It sounds like you have some kind of anxiety disorder. Seriously, they're just books. If you don't think they agree with your religious views, don't read any more of them.

I understand what you are saying. I really did not enjoy the movie until the end when the lion walked into the forest by himself. I interrupted this as Jesus going to the garden to pray. Then I started to cry. This is when I first saw the movie portraying Jesus. It is okay for you to see the movie otherwise. If it bothers you do not watch it.
