If I say something nice, I mean it, I don't gloss over the facts, and do the diplomancy thing.
Far too many people see the world as black and white, it is not, is a grey mess, and I say good things and bad things at the appropiate time. I can be diplomatic -
If somebody says do you like my new haircut?
and I don't, I will diplomatically answer, - do you really value my judgement on hair styling?

A few minutes ago.. I said "That outfit looks great" to my 19 yr old daughter....
The outfit she has on brings out the color of her eyes ad complesion and the cut accentuates the positive while masking the negatives in her body type.

About a half hour ago when I was talking to my daughter and told her that she was a very intelligent person with a good head on her sholders and she is. I am very proud of her.

Today, my daughter is about to give birth any day. I told her I loved her & am with her in spirit. She is in a different state.
