I dropped my casio exlim last weke and a huge chunk of the screen fell off, to get the screen replaced is 300 dollars, which is more then i paid for the camera. There is only like a think borderof the screen left. When i say screen i mean the bard part that protects the soft screen, Is there something i can like put on top of my soft screen just to protectit, like a peice of pexi glass or somehthing?? please help

It's only a patch, but you can temporarily protect the LCD with a stick-on screen protector. They are available for cameras and PDA's. I bought some protectors for a large screen PDA that I found on clearance and have been trimming them for use on my cellphone, digital cameras, and GPS ever since.

It won't protect it against pressure (keep the camera in a case), but it will provide a bit of piece of mind until you can save up enough to replace the camera. I'm so sorry to hear about your accident, as the Casio Exlim is such a great little camera!

One more reason why your camera should be hanging around your neck on a nice comfy strap when its not in your camera bag or on a tripod. In 36 years I have yet to drop a camera.

IMO you should just get a new camera - and a good comfy neck strap.
