I dreamed I was in a huge warehouse, and there was a talking baby in the middle of the floor. It told me it was an alien seeking refuge from the government, so I put it in my backpack.

When I left the warehouse I found myself on a golfcourse. I stole a golfcart, and took off down the highway. Somehow my golfcart turned into a regular car, and I was making my escape when I was pulled over by the police. I tried to tell them I was a Mexican named Hernandez (or something like that), but they didn't believe my fake accent.

To my surprise they let me drive the cop car. I immediately took advantage of this and drove headlong into a busy intersection, hoping that in the ensuing crash I could escape undetected. The impact was very vivid, and I remember watching in horror as a man's head was crushed between our cars. That was the end.

So...what the heck does that mean?

So far this is the craziest dream I have seen. I hope I get this right.
The talking baby is your inner child. You feel a little 'alienated' sometimes, don't you? Your refuge is yourself and the things you have learned over the years, and the backpack is your learned experiences and tools you have developed to help you along in your life. Your putting the baby in the backpack means you are trying to convince your inner child you have grown up enough to take care of yourself.
The warehouse is the big, huge world out there and your feelings of alienation or not belonging in it. The golf course is a life change you have made or a change of scene you have recently made. Your golf cart is your attempt to break away from your current routine and do something else, I'm jealous yours turned in to car, mine usually changes into a bicycle! You were almost successful in changing something in your life, but were held back by a voice of reason in the form of the police. You tried to deal with the voice of authority by faking it, but they saw through you anyway.
Driving the cop car means you talked your way out of some trouble you were in recently that has more impact than you initially realized. Someone somewhere showed you the right way to go and you have made a right choice in your new direction in your life. The busy intersection is a sudden bunch of decisions you faced after making a decision, you trying to crash is you wanting to bail out of your choice after all. The impact was the result or consequence of your final decision to bail out. You probably should not have bailed out but tried to make it work! The man's head being crushed is your own head - you should have tried to be responsible and taken care of your responsibilities in your life recently but apparently you didn't.
This means you need to be serious about your responsibilities, and face the bad as well as celebrate the good. You can't keep running away or driving away from problems just because you feel you don't have the capabilities to handle them. It's time to really grow up and handle your responsibilities. Your alien baby needing to hide from the government means you are afraid some of your recent activities have been a little questionable, your driving away and escaping in the cop car means you are really afraid of getting caught, even though in your waking life you think you're not really doing anything wrong.
It's time to quit the questionable activities, buckle down, and focus on dealing with your responsiblities.

I believe in an emergency situation, the police have the right of way. Were there sirens going or lights going that you should have noticed but yet continued to drive through the intersection? Or were you stopped at the intersection and hit by the vehicles? There are a great many unanswered questions and not enough information to give you a correct or thorough answer. Unless you were in the wrong, I would certainly think you should addess this issue with the police and also seek the advice of an attorney as to how to go about seeking relief.

According to Dreamcrowd:

Occasionally, people will have dreams about UFO's and aliens. What these dreams symbolize, collectively or individually is difficult to explain and understand. Meeting and talking to aliens may suggests that significant changes are coming into your life and, at the moment, things feel strange and foreign to you. If you dream that you are the alien, it suggests that you may feel detached from some parts of yourself and from others. You may be a stranger in your immediate surroundings, and some self-evaluation and familiarization is suggested.

You are the only person who can interpret your dreams. Dreams don't always have to be meaningful.
