why have portugese police have allowed the mccanns to return to uk ?

my concern is madeleine . even if the parents are innocent or not. why have they let them return ? i think they have intimidated and bullied them to go home so that the resort will pick up, i think it is as shallow as that . what do you think ?

The McCanns need to go back home to their jobs and home. The police can not hold them without evidence of wrong doing. If the police find some evidence, they can extradite them from the UK.
