Here is a passage from Newsweek article
"Muslim American advocates have critiqued the press coverage of the Pew study, saying it focused too much on the bad news and not enough on the good. The bad news, however, bears repeating: 26 percent of Muslims age 18 to 29 believe that suicide bombing can be justified. Thirty-eight percent of that group believe that Arabs did not carry out the 9/11 attacks. These data, combined with the rising religious conservatism of young Muslim Americans, have led some experts to argue that differences between Europe and America have been overblown, that affluence and education do not inoculate a society against radicalization. "This idea that all those who are middle class are exempted from extremism has always been false," says Geneive Abdo, author of "Mecca and Main Street." "The leadership of the extremist movements have always been highly educated Muslims."

I had to mention this because the liberals and Muslim converts always say Islam is a religion of Peace. Also they tell us that terrorist attacks are isolated incidents and don't reflect on Islam. Similar polls were done in other countries and the results were very high. So What is difference if you keep telling us Islam is all about Peace, when majority of Muslims all over the world keep saying Suicide Bombing is justified, So hard facts here guys.
when Polls were taken in Egypt, Morocco and Saudi Arabia the number was significantly high. Ranging from 90-97%.
I am tired of Liberals and Muslims saying America kills innocent iraqis. Read the newspaper for once. The Sunni Muslims kill the Shia Muslims and the Shia Muslims kill the Sunni Muslims in Iraq.

Islam is supposed to be a religion of peace, as is Christianity, Judaism, Budhissim, Krishnas, Hindu, Taoists, etc. That does not mean that there are not those who harbor hatred in their hearts and use what ever they can to manipulate others into carrying out their agendas for/with them. I agree that the article and its statistics are startling, but those few are not the majority, they do not speak for the majority of Muslims or anyone else in the world. They may have the lousdest voices at a moment in time. These events, they remind me of the Crusades and the Catholic Church, for example, many years ago, trying to force and scare people into believing and behaving and living in certain ways. The radicals of today are just repeating history. While we would like to separate from them, and think of oursevles as having grown way past that type of behaviuor, can we? I think of myself as a live and let live person. And I wonder why others find it so hard to live the same way. It is frustrating. Allegedly we all "want peace", but there are always conditions to that peace. At least that's the message I get. Until we all learn to just stop the nonsense, and compromise, and think of other people, and treat them as we would like to be treated, we're never going to get anywhere. You know who I think is the greatest Muslim ever? Muhammad Ali. He is the greatest. He is a legend, he is a truly peaceful Muslim, and he has always been against radical behaviour. I love that man, and I treasure him, and I feel so badly that such a wonderful and peaceful rolemodel is suffering so with Parkinson's. Imagine what he would say if he could speak, about what other Muslims are doing, what other people in general are doing!

I think if it was reported that 26% of all christians believed that bombing abortion clinics is justified, you would see a hugely different story being told by the media. Suddenly, 26% would no longer be downplayed as a small number. They wouldn't be talking about "the majority of christians are peaceful". They would be talking about the fact that 26% is a HUGE number of people, and there would be an OUTRAGE toward christians in this country. But we don't see that with the muslims in this poll. We see the media downplaying the size of 26%, and saying that the poll shows "most muslims are peaceful". It's a double standard. The fact is, 26% is a huge number of muslims. We're talking about millions of people. Worldwide, that number is even bigger. Statistically, we're looking at a significant problem with Islam. It is NOT the religion of peace.

I believe that killing of any kind is wrong. I don't care why we are killing others it is wrong. If everyone believed and followed this, we would have no more murders. Everyone who is killed is an innocent no matter what they believe. However I am aware that this is an unrealistic goal, and there will always be killers, and poor people, etc. The world is not always a friendly one, or is it never?
Peace be with you

Is the anger and hate that we might feel so much different than theirs must have been? Become the Devil to defeat the Devil and the Devil thereby lives. The only way for Good to prevail is for us to choose to refuse to participate as links within this chain of anger and hatred. Understand the other, do not profit from the misfortunes of others, live and work for the well being of others, and then others you must no longer fear.

As a non American i feel that it was justified. I do not condone what the Saudi's did on 9/11. It was the Saudi's that perpetrated 9/11 as far as I know they are one of Americas major allies. How else could they call attention to the injustices that are being practiced against them. American money helps to support the Saudi Royal family to stay in power.

Is it justified to decide that thousands of families will be ripped apart? Not in my opinion. Certain sects of the Muslims believe that all non believing Muslims should be put to death. My God says to Love your enemies not kill them. I do NOT believe one person in those buildings personally assaulted the Muslims. It is my understanding that anything in the name of their Allah is justified.

What do you guys think?
I think they live in the wrong country. I would gladly vote on a bill that uses my tax dollars to help relocate them to the Muslim country of their choice.

Here's what I think: the believer can justify anything in the name of God ...
and it's not just Muslims. Any *true* believer of any faith will say the same thing.
Now you know why I'm an atheist
