You should never give away pups younger than 8 weeks old. It can cause health and behavior problems to be taken away from their mother before they are two months old.
It is better to keep them until they are 10 weeks if you can, with 8 weeks being the earliest you can give them away.
Also, it is best not to just give them away. Many crazy people will take free dogs and sell them to places that do animal testing, or abuse them. The best thing to do is to charge enough for the pups to cover the cost of their first shots and the mother's spay surgery so this never happens again.

I am scared to ask, but how did you let this happen when you clearly do not know anything about breeding. You should keep the pups for eight weeks, at approximately 3/4 weeks you should start to wean the puppys by giving them puppy food and milk supplement such as whelps. The pups should be eight weeks old, vet checked prior to going to their new homes and wormed regularly at 3/5/7 weeks of age.
I hope this assists you with your question, I cannot be more specific as you do not mention what breed you have.

Some people will tell you that you can give them away at 6 weeks old, when they become weened, but please, do NOT follow their advice. It is best to keep pups with their mother until they are at least 8 weeks old simply because they need the socialization. Just like with human babies, dogs learn how to behave through playing. They learn not to be aggressive towards people (if mom isn't aggressive) and they learn limits, such as how hard they can bite when they play before it's too painful. It teaches them "puppy manners."

At least 8 weeks, 10 weeks is better, 12 weeks is best
You shouldn't 'give' them away- wait 12 weeks have their shots given and have them spayed/neutered- save the receipts and charge the cost of the vet work per pup. This way you will attract better buyers. Easy come, easy go- a free dog can go to irresponsibly people easier then one that cost $75-$150

Absolutely no younger than 8 weeks. In many places, letting puppies go to new homes before 8 weeks is illegal. I recommend 10-12 weeks.

Puppies must remain with the mother until at least 8 weeks old. In many places, it's illegal to re-home them before then.
It's preferred to wait until 12 weeks old, because they learn a lot from the momma (including the concept of housebreaking).
