it depends. if you have very sensitive teeth (like me) the drill is almost unbearable. even if you don't, the drill is more than a little uncomfortable. the best way is to just grit your teeth and do it, with the knowledge that it will be over soon. good luck.

It's been a long time since I had braces but I don't remember it hurting. When the braces come off for good they have to clean off all the glue then so sooner or later you're going to have to deal with it.

well every case is different. i have braces and i have broke 3 brackets. the scrpaing of the glue sometimes you can't feel it. my Ortho just did it with out me knowing so i didn't feel it. it is nothing like getting braces on unless you did broke the bracket very bad. Good Luck!!

No it does not hurt at all. It's a tad uncomfortable, but there is no pain involved unless you have sensitive teeth and gums..if you don't you will be fine!

actually i brok3 a brack3t lik3 5 of th3m...
and no it dsnt hurt
but your ortho might do it diff3r3nt..
th3y tak3 it off and put som3 kind of g3l on your tooth to clean off th3 bas3 of it and th3n g3t a brack3t and glu3 it back on nothin to difficult!!
