find some good hydrating/moisturizing conditioners. Oil treatments are good too. If you can find/afford Ojon restorative treatment, it would really help your hair. John Frieda's Frizz-Ease products are a good place to start - the serum works wonders - put some on your damp hair and then again after it's day/styled. It is an oil based serum so don't use too much or it'll look stringy & dirty.
Good Luck

1] Get a decent quality shampoo and conditionerfor dry hair -
Herbal Essence, Pantene, Sunsilk, etc. Massage scalp before washing hair. Wash only as often as necessary; and rinse hair a LOT.
2] use a deep conditioner once a week - Pantene, Neutrogena, L'oreal, etc.
3] comb hair vs. brushing it, and avoid blow drying, curling irons, and hot rollers, etc.
4] check all styling products - they should have NO ALCOHOL. Many gels and sprays do, so check them out
4] change your diet - avoid all fried, fast, and junk food - even diet junk food.
5] drink 1/2 gallon of water a day
6] take a quality multivitamin with minerals every day
7] exercise! do aerobic exercise for 45 minutes at least three days a week.

first figure out why your hair is dry, what you think caused it then go from there. Is your iron too hot? Sometimes people think the hotter the better NOT TRUE! Too hot will fry your hair. If that dosent apply, when you condition your hair towel dry it first and leave it on for a few minutes. When your hair is full of water the cond. dosent penitrate it just detangles.

Don't blow dry it as much (the heat isn't good for it.) Dependend on how much you sweat or smell, shower less. (I'm totally serious.) Or at least when you shower don't wash your hair, getting it wet and soap just dry your hair out more.
