and im looking for a homecoming dress thatll bring out the red in it. any color suggestions?

Black or white. Not too many accessories. Just flaunt the hair.
Definitely NOT red. That will totally clash with the hair and you're gonna end up looking like Weasley from Harry Potter.
But you could pull off a dark maroon color.

I too have red auburn hair!
I have worn in the past (and looked really good):
gold, bright light blue, pinkish-pale-goldish, orange, black and red (though I tend to avoid black), leopard print, pink. Depending on your skin complexion (I'm really pale), you can wear different things. I had a lot of pink in my skin, so I tended towards pinkish and yellowish colors. Good luck and enjoy homecoming!

Look at Julianne Moore. Does she wear black? No she wears:
kelly green
teal
bright purple
aqua
Add some matching or gold jewelry and accessories.

red hair is beautiful!! THE best colour for redheads is purple. deep deep purple. trust me, you will look gorgeous!!!!!!!! i died my hair red once to play the part of annie and i looked awful in the red dress that i had to wear for the part, so stay away from red! and green- you dont want to look like a cristmas decoration now do you?? :)

Dark blue, green, black, or white. But dont wear red lol. jC Penny, Macy's are good places to shop.
